The Shelly Pro Modbus Add-on RS485 adds wired RS485 communication to compatible Shelly Pro devices for integration with professional building and energy management systems.
Connecting directly to the Shelly Pro expansion port, the add-on enables integration with BMS, EMS, SCADA and other Modbus-based automation systems. RS485 provides reliable, noise-resistant communication suited to commercial buildings, energy monitoring, renewable energy and larger automation installations.
The add-on can operate as both a Modbus client and Modbus server, allowing compatible Shelly Pro devices to read data from external meters and controllers or provide their own measurements and states to other systems.
This is an expansion add-on and not a standalone device. It requires a compatible Shelly PRO device to operate:
