FIBARO Roller Shutter 3
The Fibaro Roller Shutter 3 (FGR-223) is a Z-Wave+ micromodule designed for intelligent control of roller shutters, venetian blinds, and compatible garage door motors. Installed discreetly behind an existing wall switch, it enables both local switch control and remote operation through a Z-Wave controller or home automation system.
Beyond convenience, the Roller Shutter 3 helps improve energy efficiency by allowing automated shading—retaining warmth in winter and reducing heat gain in summer. It supports precise positioning, including slat angle control for venetian blinds, and works with motors featuring either mechanical or electronic end stops.
The module also includes built-in energy monitoring, reporting both instantaneous power (W) and cumulative consumption (kWh). With larger terminals for easier wiring, a compact rounded housing, and Z-Wave mesh repeater functionality, it integrates cleanly into professional smart home installations.
